Welcoming you to our new 2013-14 Season
Introducing our new season of live classical music. All concerts are held in Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre and start at 7.30pm. See 'Full Details' under individual concerts below.

Thursday 12th September 2013: Ashley Fripp Piano Recital

"He is an extraordinarily gifted pianist whose musical prowess, intelligence and commitment to his art place him at an exceptional level for pursuing an international career as a soloist in the years to come." - Marios Papadopoulos, Music Director of the Oxford Philomusica.


Wednesday 16th October 2013: Viv McLean (Piano) and Susan Porrett (Narrator)

"Divine fire": The story of Fryderyk Chopin and George Sand in music and words.


Tuesday 12th November 2013: Tyler Hay and Michael Newman - Piano and Cello Recital

"Notable performances were given by Tyler Hay, a young virtuoso pianist." - Review of the
International Composers’ Festival Hastings, 2012.

Friday 6th December 2013: Ugnius Pauliukonis Piano Recital

Ugnius started to learn the piano at the age of six and is now studying at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester under the tutelage of Graham Scott.

Monday 3rd March 2014: Anthony Zerpa-Falcon Piano Recital

A prize-winner of both national and international competitions, Anthony Zerpa-Falcon has established a reputation for exciting and individual interpretations of a wide repertoire, ranging from Purcell and Rameau to Boulez and Ligeti.

Wednesday 9th April 2014: Margaret Fingerhut Piano Recital

"Exquisitely played .... No praise can be too great for the dedication and sensitivity of these performances" - The Gramophone (Bax: Octet).


Hartlepool Music Society has been promoting high quality, live classical music concerts in the Town for the past 28 years and expects to continue for the next 28 years with your support.
